Hi. My name is Sara. I am the creator and owner of Rootbar. My vision began when I gifted a friend a cutting from a houseplant. She returned the gift with a cutting of her plants. It was so inspiring to see such beautiful, small plants nestled in a jar of water. As I placed the jar on my window sill near, the sun hit it just right. In that moment, I knew I had to share the beauty with my community.
About Me:
I am a mom of 2 and married to my college sweetheart. I studied to be an elementary teacher at ECU. I found myself teacher after college for some time until I chose to stay home to be with my children. After some time, I still longed to teach others while still being present at home. My solution: ROOTBAR. I love to teach others and inspire those around me to see the beauty in nature. ROOTBAR allows me to teach a wide range of people about plants and how to cultivate growth in their own lives!
